I wanted to capture that feeling of deep connection, the kind of love that makes you feel grounded no matter where you are. The transparency of the chiffon, layered with thread and paint, brings a dreamlike quality to this work, blurring the lines between memory and presence.
This piece is very close to my heart. It’s about love, motherhood, and the quiet power of simply being there for someone. It’s about what it means to be home.
